Dr. Gunel Khaligverdiyeva at the IV International Ophthalmology Congress

I participated in the 4th International Ophthalmology Congress held on October 4-5 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This prestigious event brought together leading ophthalmologists from the USA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Russia, India, and other countries. The congress featured and discussed around 140 reports on important ophthalmology topics, including glaucoma, vitreoretinal interface, cataract treatment, laser treatments for various eye conditions, plastic surgery, and other current ophthalmic issues.

As an invited speaker at the international conference, I presented on the topic, “Application of Botox in Strabismus and the Elimination of Cyclic Esotropia with Botox.” In my talk, I shared my methods for non-surgical treatment of strabismus, explaining how patients can overcome this issue without surgery. The innovative method I presented offers a safer and more comfortable solution for individuals dealing with strabismus.

This international event provided a productive platform for exchanging ideas and experiences.
